Job Purpose

Engineering teams are growing in number and skills. It is critical to be able to deliver the result of the engineering work on a regular basis according to Arm standards and deliver the best Arm partner experience with successful configuration and integration of Arm CPUs.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

As a member of the Sophia Antipolis Software Solutions & Deliverables team:

You will build and maintain IP bundles delivered along RTL IP to help Arm partners to better integrate and test Arm CPU out of the box.

Develop and run standard Arm test-benches to demonstrate performance and features of configured CPU.

Maintain and develop automation in various domains to save precious engineering time and maximize engineers’ impact on project


Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Extensive years of similar working experience; preferably graduate from a University or Engineering School, in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience of developing scripts (Python, Perl, TCL, shells …) for automation purpose
  • Working in UNIX/Linux environment, with bug tracking and source code control systems
  • reuse from Open Source projects (experience with Jinja templating is a plus)
  • Debugging skills
  • Able to work in French and in English
  • Ability to schedule own workload and plan tasks

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with GIT and svn
  • Capacity to bridge gaps with DIY mindset
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, Gerrit) or Jenkins
  • Capacity to learn about new systems and skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience as partner of Arm® IP configuration or integration
