Job Description

Are you result-oriented? Do you excel in communication and organization skills? If so, a client of ours within the FMCG industry is seeking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to join their professional team.

What is expected of you?

  • Coordinate stock requirements within the warehouse whilst ensuring that orders are processed on time
  • Answer customer queries related to their order status and liaise with the relevant departments to be able to apply the necessary corrective action when needed
  • Carry out stock takes, reconcile production jobs and clear non-scannable pallets
  • Conduct full return procedures and compile the necessary documentation needed for the delivery persons
  • Check and ensure that loaded products are in line with the company’s Quality Policy Standards
  • Carry out Incoming Quality Control on products received as per standard procedure
  • Print and affix appropriate labeling on goods received
  • Assist the logistics clerks in their duties when required
  • Prepare any reports/documentation requested by superiors whilst assisting in their analysis when required
  • Assist with the general day-to-day requirements of the department and perform any other duties as assigned
  • Carry out elements of maintenance that may be required on the Warehouse Management System

What are you expected to bring?

  • A minimum of an Ordinary Level standard qualification
  • Relevant work experience in logistics field will be considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MSOffice
  • Be self-motivated, show initiative and capable of working independently on multiple tasks, under minimal supervision
