Auditor – Gozo

Our client a Boutique Audit Firm based in Gozo, which offers various services including Assurance Services,

Accounting, Advisory, and Taxation Compliance Services, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Auditor.

This is a dynamic role that requires an energetic individual who is motivated, the chosen candidate will be expected to

carry out specific accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

·        Build and maintain effective working relationships with client personnel and meet client and firm deadlines.

·        Fully accountable for Audit and Assurance engagements from beginning to end.

·        Preparing and reviewing Financial Statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS.

·        Perform other Audit and Assurance engagements.

·        Delivering a service that is of the highest quality to exceed clients’ expectations.

Requirements:

·        Minimum 3 years experience in Auditing; or a minimum of 1 year in client auditing, and other relevant experience.

·        Preferably fully certified or on the final stages of an ACCA qualification or with significant accounting experience.

·        Be flexible and able to work independently yet also be an effective team player.

·        Approaches work in a methodical and organized manner, ensuring tasks are completed on time.

·        Be proactive in fulfilling his / her duties.

·        High standards of work ethics and commitment; clear communication at all levels

·        Be a client-oriented and loyal personality with a friendly character

·        Previous experience working in a similar role will be considered an asset.
