Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Account Manager in Cape Town will include:

  • Effective and accurate financial management of projects
  • Ensure projects are in order for WIP meetings and ARIP’S are monitored and tracked throughout a projects life cycle
  • Ensure monthly forecasts are accurate and updated weekly
  • Follow up on for payment dates on invoices – 30 days, escalate if no response
  • Deliver high quality campaigns in line with agreed plans, including liaison with other departments
  • Work closely with Operations team to ensure jobs flow seamlessly through the system as fast as possible ensuring a quality deliverable
  • Develop excellent relationships with client counterparts including effective and accurate reporting of all client contact and requests
  • Completion of Status Reports and Contact Reports mandatory
  • Add value to the client’s business by identifying opportunities to improve current practices, creative work, and campaign performance
  • Ensure clients brand strategy is always reflected on when putting forward proposals to help strengthen and align brand efforts
  • Identify new opportunities within the client’s business thereby growing the business

Requirements for this Digital Account Manager job in Cape Town:

  • Matric qualification essential
  • Marketing or communications degree preferable
  • Min 2-5 years’ experience in an agency environment essential
  • Real passion for digital essential
  • Broad understanding of all communication disciplines – BTL, ATL & TTL
  • Broad understanding of new technology and the application of it to the creative process
  • Ability to review campaign results, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent creative understanding and ability to judge creative
  • Digital knowledge a must
