Your key job responsibilities as the Finance Strategy Analyst in Cape Town will include:

  • Setting standards for high performance for the team. Assuming accountability for performance required to achieve goals and priorities. Operating at the same high level expected from the Head of Business Analysis
  • Reviewing incoming materials for adequacy and appropriateness in advance
  • Continually building long-term, trusted relationships in every area of the organisation and outside of it (e.g. governments and regulatory bodies) through flawless execution and a collaborative attitude. Holding others accountable for employing the same approach to achieve the best results
  • Forming strong relationship with Finance teams to deliver tactical and strategic analysis/reports
  • Setting challenging objectives for personal, team, and function improvement and hold others to account in delivering these
  • Actively recognising staff achievements and milestones throughout the course of the year

Requirements for this Finance Strategy Analyst job in Cape Town:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent (i.e. Finance, Management, Economics, Business)
  • Significant experience in financial services; experience on an international scale preferred
  • Experience in operating in a multi-geographic, matrix organisation a plus, with proven ability to balance commercial, client, and regulatory needs across businesses and geographies
  • Established and evidenced leadership credentials; proven ability to maintain energy and resilience within an organisation throughout a period of change and/or against significant challenges
  • Talent management experience. Proven commitment on building capability across a workforce; ability to attract and retain top talent
