Our client is looking to expand their RG team and they are looking for a skilled candidate to work together on international markets.
Responsibilities:
Contacting customers to address any Safer Gambling, Affordability, or Financial Crime concerns;
Carry out customer affordability checks. This will involve assessing customers financial positions against the level of spend on our betting platforms;
Deliver outstanding customer service whilst encouraging the use of Safer Gambling tools or seeking Source of Funds (SOF) evidence;
Use judgment and analysis to evaluate the customer responses and apply any appropriate controls to mitigate the risk in a timely manner;
Ensure all necessary actions are taken e.g. loss limits, deposit limits, account closure, and maintain a clearly documented audit trail of decision making;
Handle sensitive information in line with data privacy requirements;
Create and maintain detailed records of information, interactions and actions taken to help establish customer risk profiles;
Understand and develop knowledge of regulatory requirements, and keep up to date with changes;
Review systems, policies and procedures to measure effectiveness;
Cooperate with the team in delivering everyday tasks as well as new, temporary errands.
Requirements:
Good knowledge/experience of UK Responsible Gambling processes;
Background in online gambling industry;
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities;
Keen eye for detail and a natural problem solver;
Excellent written and verbal English;
Confidence in making decisions and recommendations with the ability to succinctly present these to members of the management team;
Ability to communicate sensitively and calmly, particularly with customers who may be distressed or angry;
Experience in handling sensitive, confidential customer information;
Thorough understanding of Safer Gambling and AML policy requirements;
Sound knowledge of Safer Gambling customer tools.
