Your key job responsibilities as the German speaking Content Team Lead in London, UK will include:

• Day-to-day management of a team of content editors and freelancers
• Manage the team’s absence (holidays and sick leave) to ensure minimal impact on content production
• Proactively identify lack of skill-set, resources and tools required for the team to operate effectively and efficiently
• Assist and deliver training to new and current employees to close any skills gap
• Oversee quality-checking work to ensure all content produced by the team is of a high-quality standard and delivers a unique selling point in the cluttered online betting space
• Assist and ensure that the Content Editors improve the content briefs to have proper SEO and a customer centric approach
• Setting clear and measurable targets and KPIs for the team and following up with the team regularly to ensure that targets are being met
• Working alongside the Head of SEO in conducting performance reviews and creating development plans for direct reports to ensure a high level of performance
• Managing and executing the implementation of the content strategy devised with the Head of Sports Publishing and Content, while keeping tone of voice and branding in mind
• Coordinating projects across the content layer and optimising campaigns
• Monitoring and evaluating Google Analytics and Marketing outreach reports to optimise and measure the success of initiatives and campaigns

Requirements for this German speaking Content Team Lead job in London, UK:

• Native German and fluent English
• Knowledge of the betting market and sports background will be considered an asset
• Degree-qualified in Communication, Journalism, or a related discipline
• Professional experience in writing and publishing as well as experience working in iGaming
• Professional experience in leading teams or complex projects
• A mature approach while being self-motivated, and thrives on working in a collaborative team environment
• Understanding of UX concepts, SEO copywriting and optimisation techniques
• Ability to lead by example and inspire others
• Strong creative skills and the ability to take the initiative
• Great time-management skills and keen eye for detail
• Creativity and initiative to implement fresh ideas and improve existing content
• Professional experience in writing and publishing search engine optimized online content using Content Management Systems like WordPress will be considered an asset
