Our client is looking to hire a SENIOR PHP DEVELOPER who loves the Laravel ecosystem and can handle different types of projects both pure frontend and backend. They are ideally looking for someone who has professional experience in VueJs, Laravel and Docker, and who can work both independently but also function in a team. The selected person should also like working in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Responsibilities:
Write clean PHP, in an object-oriented manner that is built to scale
Work on and develop micro-services that are designed to scale and operate 24/7
Deliver code in a timely manner that is well thought out and tested
Integrate a multitude of different third-party APIs that are consumed within our systems
Build frontend pages that are world-class in design and useability
Effectively work together with other departments and teams
Requirements:
Fluent English language skills
3+ years of full-time development experience
Strong background in frontend development
Experience with MySQL and Linux
Previous experience with Laravel and VueJs
Working knowledge in docker, AWS and/or other containerisation and virtualisation
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, processes and principles
You know JavaScript, PHP, HTML/CSS/SCSS
Knowledge of Bootstrap and Bulma considered an asset
