You will be responsible for creating the company’s integrated digital strategy through all digital channels, as well as developing, executing and managing all digital brand and product marketing through our various digital channels. Your key job responsibilities as the Head of Digital Marketing in Johannesburg will include:

  • Bringing the brand vision to life across the various digital platforms
  • Generating ‘hot’, quality consumer leads thereby growing their direct business
  • Competitor analysis (global and local) to inform strategy and stay ahead of competitors by being the market leader in the bond origination space
  • Digital media strategy planning and buying aligned to the overall marketing strategy and budget
  • Data-driven targeting, monitoring and enhancement of campaigns
  • Day-to-day management of AdWords, GDN, YouTube campaigns and any other channels selected as part of the overall strategy
  • Management and briefing of the digital agency on the creative requirements for any digital assets (GDN banners, Facebook content, AdWords etc.)
  • Day-to-day management of the digital agency’s moderation of Facebook
  • Tracking and reporting results to management
  • Anticipating future trends in terms of digital marketing and their impact on business
  • Considering new and upcoming digital consumer and business trends to identify innovative ideas and turn them into brand initiatives
  • Review the existing technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and turn them into digital brand initiatives
  • Define KPIs to assess the performance and relevance of digital projects

Requirements for this Head of Digital Marketing job in Johannesburg:

  • A relevant degree (or equivalent) in media and digital marketing
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience
  • Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proven experience in digital marketing (website, social media, ePR, search, media, content creation etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the Digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand strategy
  • Creative, technology savvy with a true interest in brands
  • Need to have Project Management and Relationship building skills
