Overview of Role
The Compliance Team is our first line of defence against money laundering.
As a German Liaison for the Compliance Team you will be responsible for liaising with customers to collect customer due diligence documentation for the compliance team including the translating of documentation collected from German to English.
Assisting the Compliance Team with the carrying out of their duties by liaising with customers to collect customer due diligence documentation.
Taking and making phone calls from/to customers to assist said customers with any questions/issues they may have relative to the customer due diligence process.
Translating customer due diligence documents from German to English
Recording and Filing of original customer due diligence documentation received
Ensure that documentation is stored in accordance with the Company’s record keeping policy;
Skills and Attributes
Organised and reliable with attention to detail – can handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment;
Outstanding written and oral communication;
A sense of humour and positive, ‘make it work’ attitude;
Must be fluent in German and English;
Ability to work independently and in team-based environments
Eligibility to work in Malta
2+ years’ experience with Customer Service or similar role
