Job Description

A leading California-based customer experience agency is seeking a QA Engineer to work in our Kyiv R&D Center. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the web and native applications we produce, making sure that they are of the highest quality in both form and function.

●Work experience as a QA Engineer (at least 3 years)
●Clear understanding of standard QA testing methodologies
●Experience in mobile applications testing (Android and iOS). Experience with proxy testing tools (i.e. Charles Proxy) is a plus
●Experience using a test case management system
●QA documentation management & maintenance
●Exploratory testing skills and an "outside-the-box" testing mindset
●Experience with Agile teams
●English – Upper-Intermediate. Able to communicate reproduction steps using verbal and written methods.

Responsibilities:

●Read functional specifications & annotated wireframes and create comprehensive test plans & test cases from them that will be used to validate functionality as builds are delivered.
●Provide manual testing for iOS, Android, and Web Applications across a number of industry verticals.
●Collaborate with other quality assurance team members to create & refine processes to improve efficiency & consistency across the quality assurance department
●Maintain documentation of test cases and test execution runs in a test case management system, and open defect tickets for developers that contain the necessary information to investigate & fix identified issues
●Assist Project & Product managers in prioritizing issues based on objective and subjective severity, and assist them in managing issues in our task management system in order to keep a clear picture of the state of projects you are assigned to.
