Our client, working in the Banking Sector is looking for a Regulatory Risk Senior Officer to join their growing, dynamic team
Main Duties
Identifying, following up and analysing upcoming regulations, assessing their applicability to the group and actively making recommendations
Assisting the Group Regulatory Liaison Manager to develop and maintain regulatory change oversight dashboard and driving the planning and implementation of regulatory changes to meet key deliverable aspects
Providing input for risk reports with focus on management and monitoring of regulatory risk
Supporting the Group Regulatory Liaison Manager by collating responses on different themes to address queries raised by regulators
Monitor and regulate mailbox, keeping track of various regulatory requests and respond in stipulated time frames
Assist the management by coordinating and scheduling internal and external regulatory matters
Reviewing the Group risk governance framework and ensuring it is embedded consistently across the Group subsidiaries
Assisting the risk function by developing, implementing and maintaining a risk education awareness training programme
Providing support and input for various key regulatory documents such as Group Recovery Plan, ICAAP/ILAAP and Contingency Funding Plan
Assist in the review of the Group risk management policies and proactively maintain the Group risk policy register
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics or Banking, or equivalent technical knowledge and skills
Knowledge of local and EU financial regulation
Fluent in English
