Job Description

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the start-up and execution of our new business venture in the UK. They are expected to work closely with the management team in order to build a successful brand and reach the company’s targets.


Assist with recruitment of Sales and Collection team members;
Support the development of the team with training on product, systems and processes;
Actively seek new customer sales by executing appointed strategies and instructions;
Adhering to the team’s sales and collections targets;
Oversee development of key policies and processes;
Oversee customer on-boarding and verification of documents as per the Company’s Policies and Operational Procedures;
Understand thoroughly the Company’s products whilst ensuring that customers are always presented accurate information;
Responding to any customer queries via email, SMS and phone;
Responsible for instilling a culture of excellent customer experience;
Work closely with other departments, notably Payments and Collections, in order to ensure transparent and efficient interaction;
Ensure adherence to the Company’s Code of Ethics and related policies;
Act as point of cover for teams and where necessary, act as point of escalation
Involvement in production of Sales and Collections reports;
Involvement in training and mentoring of other team members;
Assist in documentation of the team’s Operational Procedures;
Providing ideas and suggesting ways for the improvement of operational systems, processes and procedures;
Execute ad hoc tasks as may be requested by the management team


Minimum Higher education;
Solid leadership characteristics and career-focused;
Able to read, write and speak fluent English;
Previous experience in similar role, ideally within financial services;
Experience with customer database is a plus;
Team player with customer oriented mind-set;
Able to demonstrate basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel);
Attention to detail, initiative and high standard of work;
Willingness to learn and grow.
