Job Description

We are a company specialising in white label gaming solutions; offering a competitive gaming platform, regulated and licensed. Our focus is regulated markets and we are based in Malta. We hold these licenses (MGA, UKGC, AAMS and Curacao).


The available position: Head of Operations

Together with the Operating Board and the Compliance Department,  The Head of Operations will develop and maintain a compliance framework covering regulatory, legislative and business risks. We expect you to support, coach and develop.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Improve the operational systems, processes, policies and practices,

>> support better management reporting

>> information flow and management

>> business process and organizational planning

  • Responsible for the day to day management:

>> ensure the department meets its financial

>> operating (CS, KYC, AML payment and risk management)

>> productivity performance objectives

  • Provide leadership for the operations department: Payments, Fraud, KYC and Customer Service
  • Develop an effective business model geared towards operational excellence
  • Create a team that is expert on all our products, offerings and games
  • Lead, mentor and develop the customer service team to achieve a first-class customer experience
  • Implement regulatory practices and ensure these are upheld
  • Act as a point of escalation of customer issues and advising practical solutions
  • Assisting with all departmental product development to improve overall member service, risk management and department output performance efficiency
  • Translates the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit; identifies and optimises promotional opportunities.
  • Preparing and publishing monthly department paper to the Operating Board
  • Acting as a liaison to senior management and board of directors to keep them up to date with departmental matters.
  • Responsible for the department budget
  • Continuously reshape department best practices to provide highest client satisfaction
  • Maintain and seek out new strong relationships with any third-parties (institutions, payment / KYC suppliers) the department works with regularly to ensure smooth procurement and delivery of products and services


Skills & Experience

  • Previous senior managerial experience in a Payments, fraud or Finance role ideally within the online gaming industry
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction and Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organisation.
  • Ability to look at situations from a risk-based approach
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering / KYC legislation and industry licensing requirements
  • A good understanding of gaming regulations under different jurisdictions
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply knowledge using the broader perspective of the overall business environment
  • Solid organisational, time management and complex problem-solving abilities
