Job Description

As the Internal IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the company’s Internal IT Infrastructure, networks and security systems. You will be responsible for investigating and diagnosing IT problems, making recommendations for improving the company’s IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.
 
On a day to day basis, you will be provisioning new users with their IT equipment and might be called upon to help colleagues with their IT needs. This will mean you will need to share your own knowledge to help others and ensure that users are working in accordance with the company’s IT Policy.
 
Other tasks may include managing the backup routines, security policies and credential management.
 

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain and develop the Internal IT Infrastructure supporting the business requirements
  • Maintain and develop documentation and knowledge sharing in Internal IT via online tools
  • Provision users with the various IT tools and accounts to perform their jobs
  • Develop and maintain a system and service monitoring solution for the IT Department
  • Provide IT technical help to enable the correct application of IT standards and procedures
  • Contribute in architecture, technical solutions to meet the dynamic business requirements
  • Identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution.
  • Be responsible for procurement of software and hardware within IT budget

Skills and Experience

  • Have three years’ practical experience in a similar role
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Communicate effectively, convey information clearly to stakeholders, colleagues and third parties
  • Highly self-motivated and ambitious
  • Positive service-minded attitude with a sense of humility to handle difficult help desk issues
  • Able to accommodate the development environment

Technical

  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Stack: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
  • Hands on administration experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud technologies, such as, Exchange, Azure AD, OneDrive, SharePoint Teams
  • Experience and well versed in Window Server platforms (2008, 2012, and 2016) and their respective roles: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO’s
  • Experience in Hardware/Software support, configuration, and installation for PC and MAC
  • Experience in managing virtual environment, such as VMware & Citrix
  • Experience in managing an IT environment for a development company will be considered an asset
