Job Description

My Client is looking for a talented Java Developer to work on a variety of high profile Enterprise-level, Greenfield, development projects utilising open source technologies.

This represents a unique opportunity to be a part of a diverse team, helping to develop and design new builds and implement complex, multi-tier applications, using a variety of the latest technologies such as Java8, SpringBoot, Angular.js, ElasticSearch and Google Cloud Services.

As a Java Developer you will:

Have ability to effectively collaborate and gather requirements from various teams and/or stakeholders around the business and successfully translate the requirements into working tools or applications.

Be proactive, self-driven and enjoys solving complex problems, not just in the primary area of responsibility but across boundaries Take ownership of design, execution and technical project management of partner integrations Develop tools, libraries and documentation for a large set of developers

Required Skills:

  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written. 2-3 years+ of relevant software engineering experience.
  • 2-3 years+ of experience in robust server-side development, including Java web-based applications.
  • Familiarity with languages like Java and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like Spring.
  • Understanding of Microservices.
  • Strong object-oriented development skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience building RESTful web API’s Experience with API Security best practices Library Development

Preferred Skills

  • Comfortable with HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud computing environments.
  • Proficient with Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Fedora, or Ubuntu.
